These services enable customers to get more value from their investment in Business Objects. System Integrator (SI) partners provide customers with leading domain, industry, and technology expertise and are typically engaged in complex, strategic, enterprise-wide deployments. These partners also have application and/or industry expertise that complements our solution offering.
This specialised program has been specifically designed to provide predictable and clearly-defined benefits and requirements. It includes five achievement levels: Global Alliance, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Through leveraging Business Objects BI technology and market leadership our SI partners can:
- Increase revenue opportunities: We jointly develop market driven business solutions with our SI partners to create a sustainable and repeatable pipeline of business.
- Access a total BI solution: Through the provision of our market leading BI technologies directly and through our 600+ ISV alliances (e.g. SAP, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, IBM etc.), we jointly elevate the value of SI offerings and provide end-to-end offerings.
- Improved partnering process: By developing and communicating clear rules of engagement between our own Professional Services Organisation (PSO) and our SI Partners, we can be more efficient in winning and delivering new business together.
Benefits
Depending on partnership level, SI partners are eligible to receive resell discounts, NFR product and demo licenses, as well as sales collateral. Our marketing support includes access to co-marketing funds, partner extranet, events, newsletters, logos, jointly branded collateral and more. We offer web, email, phone and dedicated technical support, plus a full range of product training and certification options.
Requirements
Partner requirements vary depending on achievement level but are predominantly determined by annual partner expected influence revenue. SI partners typically also commit to quarterly account planning, product training and certification, and in some cases, demonstration facilities.
